At what age you will stop work and retire?
Work in your life is vital to make you a happy, confident and respectable person. Think of a person who does not work and depends on the money from the government in the developed countries and lives from other people’s money in a developing country. In my opinion, both are not good as you are wasting your time and wasting other people’s money for no proper reason.
If someone has a severe illness, it is ultimately a different issue that you have to depend on something for your living. Keep working as long as you can have many benefits; you will be out of financial trouble, become mentally and physically strong, and learn a lot while you work.
Anyway, it is all up to you, you can work along as you can, but the vital thing is you have to have a passion for what you do. If not, you will leave the job that you do and go for retirement. If your health is good, you have to work as long as you can instead of wasting your time on unnecessary things.
That keeps you happy and keep you away from unwanted trouble from your family & friends. It would help if you kept yourself comfortable at your last stages, so doing something to keep you happy is good for you. It also keeps you fit and well.
Some of us work till the last stages because we like to do that, and others have to work for their living maybe have wasted all the money they earned when they were young and do not want to be dependent on money, so they continued to work.
What makes people work at old age.

- Because of other commitments.
- They feel happy when they work
- They do not have anyone to look after their business.
- People live longer, and they work long.
- Some of us want to spend our time helpfully.
I have seen some older adults cannot being free not doing anything; they have to do something every minute of the day; apart from their sleep time, they have to do something Benefield to themselves and others. I remember my father used to work apart from his sleep time, so that is their habit.
At what age you will stop work and retire?
Not every one of us goes round to other people’s places to have long chats they instead do something that could bring some benefits like a bit of gardening, looking after animals or doing some voluntary work for others. Some older adults keep writing about something from when they wake up until they go to bed. So those writings can benefit the future generation, and they set themselves as role models for other lazy people around them. The list of reasons for working at old age can go on like this.
Work for you
If you think that no one will employ you, start your business with no investment if you have no money to set up your business. If you want to do something at your old age, it is ideal to start something that you are good at and can continue with the help of your family and friends. So, you allow yourself to get close to the people around you; they will join you if they happened to believe in what you do because they too can learn from you and use it for their best.
So, by living like this, you are setting yourself as a role model for your generation. Whether you become successful in what you do is irrelevant; selecting an example by teaching others is the essential thing.
