Marketing sources depend on the business, their many marketing methods out there, therefore we have to select what is suitable for our company. But today, most people choose social media to promote their business could be either online or offline.
I am an internet marketer, so mostly I use social media and YouTube channels to promote my business. Even though online marketing is so influential today, you could also use offline marketing methods that can be very effective.
If you want to know the most successful marketing method for my business, let me explain what I do in my business. I am an online course creator, write eBooks, and books, then do accounting work for a living. I publish my online courses on Udemy, follow their marketing methods, and I publish eBooks and books on Amazon, even though they have their marketing methods. I do the leafletting and word of mouth to get clients for my small accounting work.
I have a website I upload my products for creating the digital product. Still, I have not promoted anything other than Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Tumblr. I have not seen any advantage over those; maybe I am not doing that well compared to many others. Many uses paid advertisements days, but I will not recommend it for a newbie.
Word of mouth
If you have a quality product, when you sell that to your customers, you need to treat them well; that gives them a good impression about you and your business. That makes them talk about you well with the people who they know. You have to know people find it easy to say bad things about a business, but it takes time to pass it around when they witness good things.
Webinar
Suppose you know how to host a webinar that will be very helpful to promote your product. It is easy to create a webinar without spending any money; if you have zoom, you can use it to host the webinar but ensure that you let all your contacts know about the webinar.
Joint venture partnership
It is one of the best marketing methods to scale up your business because you will meet new people in your industry learn a lot from the experts in the industry. You can start to cross-promote the products, host summits, giveaways, and lots more when you join a group in your industry. In internet marketing, trust is one of the big problems, and if you enter a venture partnership, the people will see you with the industry experts, so they will start to trust you that will positively affect your business.
Customer reviews.
If you have received some good reviews from your existing customers, use that to promote your products. I publish my eBooks on Amazon; when I receive some excellent reviews for an eBook, I notice many people from all over the world try to buy that particular eBook that shows how good reviews help you.
I mentioned some methods here, but many more ways are available, like creating YouTube videos and podcasts and publishing them on social media, as they are also very effective.
