What is courage in teams & leadership?

Leaders must have the courage; if not, they cannot lead a team or even become terrified of taking action. Besides, courage gives you the power to chase after things. Even though courage is one o the main qualities of a leader, that does not mean all others are not courageous.

Let me mention hers, as this is a chance to show courage and introversion. I am an introvert who cannot go out and talk to people, and I do not think I can lead a team as I do not have enough courage to deal with other people’s attitudes.

A leader must be capable of faking united decisions, which means bringing the team together to make crucial decisions. So the possibility of making mistakes will be less when working as a team.

2Leader should not enforce anything on the team

An intelligent leader will always ensure that the team is doing their work correctly and agree with all the decisions made; on the other hand, the leader will also ensure that the theme concurs with the findings and cannot enforce anything on the team.

3Getting independent votes from the team

But whatever the situation is, the leader might have to face problems; if that is the case, try to find solutions by getting independent votes from the team. So there will be known conflict in the group. 

4Have a plan of negotiation

There could be differences in arriving at a decision; a leader’s responsibility should be to devise a negotiation plan to solve those issues.

5Making the analytical decision

If not, the leader must agree with the team to decide another time by postponing the decision-making. The leader might expect to analyze the data to devise a solution. Because this leader might be a careful and flexible thinker so needs more time.

6Put away the deciding process for later.

No matter if so, many actionable solutions exist, and issues could need to resolve. Therefore, it is a good idea to put that away later to deal with the decision-making issue. The leader should listen to and process various disagreeing voices when it is a significant and vital decision-making time before taking action. To make the decision-making process more accessible, break the problem so everyone can understand the fundamental issue to avoid conflicts. Besides, the leader should make it clear to everyone involved in the decision-making process to prevent others from starting to solve different problems.

9Explore the existing data

When the leader breaks the problem into tiny pieces, the team will understand more and gather more information. The team leader should help them focus on statistics and not on attitudes, which will eventually help the team member concentrate on specifics rather than relying on passions.

Now is the time for the group to innovate the potential solutions to the problems. If all feel they cannot finalize the answer, it will be better if they fix the date to bring it up for further clarification to complete the decision.
