Most of us make the biggest mistakes when bringing up our kids, failing to do the essential things for a child to grow up as the right person. One of the reasons for that is that some of us do not have any parenting knowledge, so here I am going to show a lack of parenting knowledge can give us to face disastrous results in our upbringing. Then we start to regret it when it is too late. There are many reasons for the lack of parenting knowledge.

I am Vathani Ariyam, author of the book, “Teaching life lessons to Kids from a young age.”

 I can talk about my experience, and I did not have any support or advice in raising children. I made so many mistakes in bringing up my children. Therefore, here I will show you why some parents do not have parenting knowledge. As a result, they fail to be a good parent. Some of the parents themselves grew up without the parents, grandparents, or any sincere help to get the proper guidance in bringing up the kids.

Then again, there is no internet, not many books about parenting, and many moms who could not read the books. Besides, they never thought they had to get some proper guidance to bring y up the child to be the right person. Remember, once you miss that chance, it will become difficult to change the children’s habits and help them become better people.

As a successful parent, I will mention a few things to help them grow up as better individuals. 

• Learn to empathize with others.
• Make them listen to you.
• They need to know about money management
• Show gratitude
• Avoid conflicts
• Learn to get along with others
• These all a few things that I have mentioned here
• Respect
• How to give affirmations
• Teach them to be independent.

Likewise, you can teach your child many more good habits so that they will grow up as the right people in this society. If you miss teaching them good habits at a young age, it will not be possible to change the bad habits and live in regrets.
