I have been doing this business for seven years. I spent the first three years learning everything, so once I became comfortable with writing, as my business involves lots of writing, I continued to write consistently. As a result, I have written 140 eBooks and 44 online courses but have yet to think about the marketing side of my business. But on the hand, one person can only wear some of the hats, so I should have taken it seriously. So, I never made a significant income from a business. That will happen if we do not bring our expertise to the world, resulting from not doing any marketing.

That means marketing and developing a close relationship with your customers.

So, when you do business, look out for people and their problems, then prepare your business to ensure that you offer the required solutions for their problems, as people always look for solutions for their problems. Then they will start to visit you to get your product or services to solve their problems that help you to grow the bond between you and your business.

Then you will take extra care to provide your customer with the best from your business.

If there are customers for a business, it will only survive for a short time, as customers are the backbone of any business. So, you must develop strategies to keep the customers with you forever. If not, they will come and leave you at any time.

The strategies that you can develop are as follows.

  • Integrity
  • Respect for the customers
  • Listen to your customers when they start to speak.
  • Provide the best that you can.
  • Ensure they are your customers to stay for long.
  • Introduce new ways to keep them with you.

Check your competitors and provide better than them by using their weaknesses, and you should overcome that. That is called competitive advantage. But do not ever copy them. It becomes the copyright.

Please pay attention to them when they come to you with some problems.

Therefore, understand the importance of your customers, provide the best you can, and maintain integrity all the time for them to trust you and your business.

Further, you might come across demanding customers as a business owner, so you must be ready to handle them properly without losing them for good. If that happens, you must put yourself in front to deal with that customer and not allow your workers to deal with that situation. As a business owner, you will have more patience and know the tactics to deal with that customer. It would help if you allowed them to speak first by carefully listening to them and taking your time to give them the explanation in a calm way.

Therefore, entrepreneurs must have all qualities needed to run a business and bring that to a successful one in the long run.
