Village Lifestyle
I am Vathani Ariyam, the author of the eBook Village Lifestyle. I also come from a village but spent most of my life in the city because of my education. When I visited my town, I felt relaxed and mixed around with many people, and the life there was fearless. However, everything kept changing, and some parts became fearful due to the wrong political administration.
That said, the people in villages feel happier because they feel content with what they have; many of them happily live according to their means and never try to go beyond that, but most ensure the children get the proper education. It is not easy to make money in villages, so the only alternative to improve their lives is to educate their children.
In my hometown, where I come from, people care for each other, and the schoolteachers go out of their way to educate the children they meet in their schools. Children from poor backgrounds get that facility and become achievers due to the extra help of the teachers. The neighbors in an area get close to each other, and there is no fear of mixing around as they lead an open life. I must insist here that most of them spend their lives in the following religion, and they become highly religious. When my father lived, he set up a temple and spent most of the time there.
Fathers used to go to work, and the mothers stayed at home to cook, clean, garden, and look after the kids. Almost everyone eats cooked food at home; the mother prepares the food correctly. The kids will have the cooked breakfast at home before school, and the house master will have his meal before work. If the children are studying at a nearby school, they will come home for lunch, and the mother will prepare rice and curries for the kids to go and eat the cooked meal at home again; they will return to school after lunch.
In a few years, people had everything they wanted: good food, clothes, education, and a peaceful and happy life; that said, most of them tried to move away from the country due to the advancement of technology. They feel they can have a better life in the Western world, which means they also like a different lifestyle.
The country needs a better medical system; that is one reason the older people who live in the Western world do not want to go back, due to that reason and the disturbances caused by the politicians there. So, they want to be free from a fearful life.
Everything will change everywhere as time passes, so people still living in the village will get a better life.
