Me and my business
I have been in business since 2016. It is so strange that I have not seen excellent wins in my business, and I always get tiny wins that are rarely useful for anything, not enough for my food. The worst part is I do not have anyone to speak my mind to, and I know the people are out there to laugh at me at any time, without giving comforting words to console and encourage me. Further, many are ready to discourage me and force me to leave my business, which I will never do, so the best way is to avoid the negatives. I am sure people are ready to share my wins if anything comes out openly. Or they might even try to take over from me. Fortunately, I am different now and a person of determination. I will never give anything to people who don’t deserve my help.
Now let me tell you about the new things I am doing and some I plan to do later. I have made many short YouTube videos with many more viewers than normal videos. It makes me happy when I get good responses, but still, the people are reluctant to buy anything from me, as I have not developed trust in me. Even though I am fully aware that success in business in internet marketing starts with trust, I know that everyone should have a community around them. I have some social media followers, but they will take a long time to join me for anything in my business.
Impact of Short YouTube Videos
I have heard some people become successful in the internet business so quickly and can build their community so fast that it surprises me, as they must have their circle to support them. I enjoy doing my business even though it is not financially helpful. I am emotionally attached to my business. I have changed many of my strategies compared to how I was doing it for a long time. I have started doing podcasts. Also, I plan to become a speaker. Even though it is not easy to get speaking gigs, one of the best ways is to connect with influencers, and if you start to associate with them, they might recommend you to get some speaking gigs. But whatever the problem I face, I have decided to start speaking about my business, as there is a belief that one of the best ways to bring your business out is by speaking at events.
I need a business partner.
I spent my entire business life alone, but now realize I cannot move forward without a business partner. I will discuss my experience identifying the right time to select a business partner. I have been in business for 10 years and struggled to accomplish everything I needed. So, I never felt the need for a business partner, and I was not desperate for financial help. This may be because I was unaware that we must bring our business out to the world to achieve business success. I spent most of my time writing eBooks and books, creating online courses, and written one hundred and seventy-three eBooks and some books. I have written fifty-four online courses. I was never interested in meeting others to talk about this business.
Besides my big mistakes, I never seriously considered making money from my business; I never took the time to do everything in a way that would attract clients to my business. I have uploaded most of my online courses to Udemy and my ebooks and books to Amazon. The only benefit I received was money from Amazon from the sale of my books, and I never received a significant amount of money from Udemy, and I was also not bothered by it.
All these made me realize that I needed some help, so an ex-colleague of mine helped for nearly two years and left me suddenly, and did not even tell me that she was going. All of this happened in 2020, and I found myself stuck indoors, paying close attention and concluding that I needed a partner for several reasons. The benefits of having a partner include increased productivity, reduced loneliness, and financial support. When two brains join forces to run a business, it is much better than running single-handedly.
You can only ride solo for so long, after which teaming up with a business partner will become necessary to ensure continued success. I must insist that having a partner is helpful, but it can go wrong if you do not take care in selecting the partner. Therefore, avoid selecting a partner who could harm you and your business, which necessitates careful consideration when choosing a partner.
